I'm a Washington, D.C. based self-taught photographer who simply loves to share my travel adventures and funky perspectives on the world. In my decade living in this amazing city I've had the privilege to work at The National Geographic Society and have rubbed elbows with some of the most amazing photographers in the world, some renown, some you've never heard of. But I would be remiss not to admit that they have all taught me the most important lessons of capturing pixels of the world: shooting a picture is a privilege, not a right; we are the conservators of our own humanity; and we respect that humanity by telling their stories.
